2020 Ford Mustang Bullitt TT Mountain Road Review
The weapon of choice of the Blue Oval for their latest adventure was the Mustang Bullitt. The muscle car thus practices in the footsteps of other magnificent trips from Ford, showcased in the other films, from the GT, which went across the Atlantic Sea Road in Norway, to the Fiesta ST which had been used to Via Campocatino in Italy.
“Imagine German autobahns, then put hillsides and twists, and decrease it to a single carriageway with incredible landscapes, and what you have are these utterly wonderful and remarkable roads”, he said. “The Mountain Road feels, and is, an absolutely dramatic place to drive. It is epic, and really in contrast to somewhere else.” Launched at the start of the year in Detroit, the Mustang Bullitt is a special edition that pays off the tribute to the renowned pony car driven by Steve McQueen in the movie ‘Bullit’ 50 years back.
It features special exterior and interior updates and is powered by an enhanced version of the 5.0-liter naturally aspirated V8 that is mated to a six-speed manual gearbox. The complete output in the Euro-spec version is 460 PS (454 hp / 338 kW) and 529 Nm (390 lb-ft) of torque. Practically nothing to write home about, but still more than adequate to have a great time in this type of environment when poise, adjustability and enjoyable are what concerns most.
